I am the proud owner of Electric Collective Hair Lab, but the journey here started long before the salon existed. My love for hair and artistry began early. Over the past two decades, I’ve built my career around education, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of color.
I’ve had the opportunity to teach hair color internationally while continuing to grow and evolve behind the chair.
I opened Electric Collective with a vision that has always been bigger than just great hair. I want it to be a community-driven salon and an educational hub for artists who are passionate, creative, and collaborative. A place where artists support one another, creativity thrives, and clients receive truly customized hair.
Today I specialize in gray blending, blonding, creative color, and hair extensions, and I’m passionate about helping every client feel confident, seen, and excited about their hair.

My love for beauty started with makeup, but I quickly discovered that my true passion was hair and the way it can transform not just someone’s look, but their confidence.
As a stylist at Electric Collective, I specialize in personalized, lived-in color, blonding, creative tones, and low-maintenance styles designed to grow out beautifully. I love creating hair that feels effortless while still reflecting each client’s unique style.
For me, a salon visit should be more than just a service, it should be an experience that’s relaxing, uplifting, and full of good energy. I’m always learning and evolving, staying up to date with the latest techniques so I can bring fresh ideas and beautiful results to every guest who sits in my chair.

CHRISTINE DEVORA DAVIS

I began my love for hair and artistry as a little girl. The idea that a few snips of hair could transform someone’s entire look fascinated me from the start. I’ve always had a love for painting, shadow, play, and lighting, and that artistic background continues to influence the way I approach hair.
My philosophy is rooted in creating natural, lived-in color and low-maintenance styles that are customized to each client. With nearly 20 years of experience and education in the industry, I take pride in crafting looks that highlight what makes each person unique. There’s nothing better than seeing a client light up when they see their finished look.
I have extensive education in blonding, gray blending, and precision cutting, and I credit much of my foundation to George Flanary of George Salon in Evanston.
In recent years, becoming a single mom has given me even more purpose in my career. I want to show my daughters that taking risks and pursuing what you love is always worth it. I’m grateful to work in a space built on positivity, creativity, and genuine care for every client who sits in our chairs.

My hair journey began in my mid-twenties, a decision that completely changed my life. Fourteen years later, I’m still just as passionate about this industry and the creativity it allows me to bring into my work every day.
I began my career in the city of Chicago, and while I’m proud to own my own salon there, my heart has always belonged to Highwood. That’s what brought me back home to be part of the Electric Collective Hair Lab and its incredible team. Now you’ll find me at the Lab a few days each month doing what I love most.
As a blonding specialist, I focus on creating soft, sun-kissed, organic color that grows out beautifully. Whether you're a blonde, a redhead, or somewhere in between, my goal is always to create hair that feels natural, effortless, and uniquely yours.
Beyond color and technique, what I love most about this career is the connection with my clients. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone express their inner beauty and watching them leave feeling confident, radiant, and truly themselves.
